When the boundaries of science and medicine are pushed, it can have amazing results for mankind; but in the wrong hands, it could also mean disastrous results for mankind. In Book 2 of the Genetic series, the close-knit society of genetically enhanced kids and their allies is in serious danger; an unknown but very vicious enemy has launched an attack on them. However, the enemy seems to have too much in common with them to be coincidence and further digging could prove exactly that. The students must be prepped to defend themselves and their loved ones against these brutal attackers. The training, although an absolute necessity, raises some serious concerns because of what it might turn the students into. But the enemy is strong and devious and will stop at nothing to further his agenda so the Plymouth students should not take the threat lying down.
Genetically Conflicted by A.W. Daniels continues the amazing story filled with astonishing science fiction, fast-paced action, drama, suspense, intrigue and a touch of romance. The book clearly elaborates on what could go wrong when incredible science advancement lands in the wrong hands, filled with greed and self-serving interests. The story is brought to life through remarkable plotting and character development, which allows the reader to fully understand each character and connect with them. The flash backs and backgrounds provided more depth to an already incredible story. I was very impressed with how A.W. Daniels did not let the science in the theme overtake the writing; he managed to keep the wording simple and yet delivered an incredible sci-fi novel. I enjoyed every single page of this sci-fi thriller.
