Albion Clemens is at the center of the plot as a pirate who has a calmness that connects with the other characters and helps him deal with his family in the middle of the chaos. Vanessa Hargreaves is an inspector with a strong-willed personality that gets her into a variety of dangerous hijinks while also making her a delightful counterpart to Albion. Rosa and Nessie are a duo of con artists that add high stakes fun to the story with fast-paced moments. Hikawa's journey consists of him exploring the meaning of his life and facing the fear of his possible death.
