Since writing her first novella at 11 years-old, Katherine's devoured books of all genres. She loves star-crossed romances, medieval history, heart-pounding thrillers, sword-and-dragon fantasies, and anything on astrophysics. Pregnancy & Newborn, ¡Hola Arkansas!, and The Northwest Arkansas Times have all featured her work. When her second son was born three months early, she knew writing was her only way through the crucible. His premature birth and long hospital stay inspired articles on breastfeeding that appear in Ohio's Women, Infants, & Children's Program and the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps.
Katherine lives in Arkansas with her husband and three sons. When she's not wrangling their hectic home life, she's busy writing her next book.

Forgetting Me is a novel penned by author Katherine Tirado-Ryen in the women's fiction, interpersonal drama, and slice-of-life subgenres. It is best suited to adult readers. In this compelling tale of amnesia and self-discovery, Anne Strafford wakes up in a New York City hospital with no recollection of her identity, the accident that left her scarred, or her relationship with the famous actor Jack Post, who remains faithfully by her side. As she starts to piece together her past, she faces disturbing revelations about her fractured relationships, including a pending divorce and a sister who won't communicate with her.
Author Katherine Tirado-Ryen has crafted a deeply engaging and emotive novel that delves into the complexities of memory, love, and the human spirit. This novel beautifully explores the concept of identity and the enduring question of whether we are defined by our greatest achievements or our worst mistakes, yet it does so with an engaging pace and plenty of action in the storyline to keep these undertones slowly building in the background. Anne's journey to uncover the truth about her past and her quest for self-rediscovery is both moving and thought-provoking, and I loved the way dialogue and thought presentation were utilized to express such emotional complexity in relatable terms. What results is a poignant exploration of the fragility of identity and the strength of the human will to rebuild, even when faced with a forgotten life. Overall, Forgetting Me is a compelling and emotionally resonant story that will leave readers reflecting on their own definitions of self, and I could not recommend it highly enough for fans of emotive female-centric fiction.
