Flesh and Blood by Julie Cambria is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that will keep the reader engaged in the book right to the very end. Victoria Clark, daughter of a preacher and a mother who has never shown her love, was pregnant at fifteen and about to lose everything. After the birth of her daughter, Victoria's mother stole the baby from her and sold her through an illegal adoption agency. For twenty-nine years Victoria has searched for her daughter and that search is about to end. Little does she know they live in the same town, and it took a death to find out. When other deaths start to occur, they soon figure out there is a connection and that connection leads back some thirty years earlier to illegal adoptions. With the only clues being an eye for eye, a tooth for a tooth and the rest of the scripture, someone knows but who.. and who is the murderer? Now that she has found her daughter, will that put them in the killers sight?

Flesh And Blood is a book that is very hard to put down. Once started, I had to keep reading straight through to the end. The characters are so easy to connect with, along with the feeling that you are right there in the midst of all that is going on. The author has a way of keeping the reader involved. When I found out who the daughter was, I finally figured out the clues, but who the murderer was.. well you need to read this yourself. This is an excellent thriller with a few coarse words and some very mild sexual encounters, but nothing outrageous. I recommend it for all who love a good mystery.
