Finding Faith in the Midnight Hour: Bible Verses, Tests & Testimonies - Finding Faith by K. Camille Snapp is a comforting read where the author connects readers to instances in her life. She begins with the midnight hour of her life and how it comes unexpectedly in various forms in each one's life. No one is prepared to handle incidents like death, relationships, a job loss, or 'the midnight hour' as the author calls it in the book, and there is always chaos where it strikes us. The author links all the experiences in her life to the Bible, and how her faith and belief in God kept her going in spite of her setbacks in life. The downs in her life remind her of the age-old adage that God's best students receive the hardest tests. The book is uplifting and inspirational to readers who will be encouraged seeing the author get rid of her self destructive behavior, unhealthy relationships, and risky activities.
The references to the scriptures and psalms in the Bible make the book effective, and also reiterate the presence and power of God in everyone's life. The daily affirmations are very useful and can be used by everyone to make them aware of God's presence always. The book makes readers look into themselves and bring a discipline into their lives. The author's growth as an individual as she handles the problems in her life and learns how to live is indeed very inspirational. The author has handled this topic well and with a difference.
