Enjoy Sophie Barnes's beautiful historical romance, Falling For Mr. Townsbridge, as we meet William Townsbridge, the youngest son of a peer, who is privileged, well-traveled, and now back home from his trip. This is initially for only two weeks before he intends to continue his adventures in life. His parents and two sisters welcome him home and his sisters are pleased about this diversion from their mother's matchmaking attempts. His mother's employment of a new cook is about to bring surprise, pleasure, confusion, distraction, and heartache into his life. Whilst joining his family for dinner, he discovers that eating can be very enjoyable and not just necessary as his palate is seriously awoken by the delights of Mrs. Lamont, the new cook. On meeting this most talented cook, he is taken by surprise when a beautiful young woman stands before him, and not a sturdy old lady as his earlier encounters have been with cooks. He discovers the joy of her company is so compelling that he needs to be distracted to save his and her position in society. Join them to see them overcome their struggles as they fight their desires.
