Six friends are out joyriding in the middle of nowhere when suddenly they think that they hit a woman. When they get out to investigate they see the damage to the vehicle, but there is no body. When several dog-like creatures come out of the woods they find themselves being chased. They ultimately wind up at an old farmhouse where they hope to find refuge but quickly realize that it is anything but safe! The house seems to be able to discern each person's greatest fear, things from their worst nightmares, and actually cause them to experience it. Will any of the friends make it out of this house of horrors?
Richard Schiver creates a spine-chilling horror tale that also keeps the reader in a bit of suspense, because you are never sure what his characters might experience next! He is a true wordsmith who is able to project his characters feelings, allowing the reader to feel the sheer terror that the characters feel when they face their worst nightmares. What makes "Enter Night" totally unique is the way the author gets his scare factor across without using blood and gore to do it. Instead his words paint a very vivid picture providing your imagination with enough fuel to figure out what could happen next. If you enjoy a scary good read that will send chills down your spine, but keep you reading because you have to know what will happen with each of the characters, then you need to read "Enter Night".
