Endow by M. Ainihi is the third book of the story set in the world of Sumir. The seven realms of this world separate the seven races to maintain a fragile balance. The consequences of the realms colliding would be unimaginable. What if the barriers that separate them threaten to collapse? The world is in shambles and Emily, Amanda, Kiami, and Justin have to do something about it. If they hope to have a chance of success, they will have to find the missing half-bloods. With new danger waiting just around the corner, this is not an easy task, even more with the increasing tension between the four of them. They hide secrets from each other, and mistrust arises. If they don't trust each other, who will be by their side?

M. Ainihi makes you travel through the pages of Endow: A Blood Inheritance Novel. From the very beginning, it traps you in this vast world of fantasy. The urge to read increases exponentially with each page. The plot, original and attention-grasping, is written in a captivating and clear way. But, despite the story being incredible, that is not the best thing about Endow. The characters that live in this fantasy world are, without a shadow of a doubt, some of the best-written characters I've encountered. Each of them has a unique and realistic personality that is consistent throughout the whole book. They evolve, and their personalities get scarred. But they are still them, their base remains. This is one of the most overlooked parts of most novels. There are times when characters are radically changed, supposedly because of the circumstances they endure, to a point where they are two completely different characters and not an evolution of one. I cannot wait for the fourth book to come out.

Endow is the third book in the Blood Inheritance Quartet by M. Ainihi, and although it is a part of a series, it reads well as a standalone novel. It is a tale of magical adventure that follows compelling characters, Emily, Amanda, and Kiami, as they travel uncharted realms filled with danger in the quest for answers. Amanda hopes she can discover the links between the stones they have received and an ancient and powerful myth. These characters are gifted, but their gifts are the source of their curses; each carries a burden inside, a secret, a power, and a strong drive. New revelations come to light when they meet Bloise, a powerful wizard. The conflict escalates quickly and they find out that they are at the heart of a conflict that can sink humanity. Can Amanda use her gift to save the world or will it be the curse that brings it down?

This is a great story for those who enjoy fantasy and a plot that is very imaginative. The strength of this novel lies in M. Ainihi’s superb handling of character. The prose is gorgeous and the world-building is impeccable. The imagery is strong and I enjoyed the setting the characters navigate through. The characters are richly developed and it was interesting how they influence each other and how challenges push them to look deeper into themselves. Endow is a fascinating story with surprises that are exciting to readers. The danger is huge and that is what makes the plot engaging. I was keen to see how the characters face it.
