Enchanted: A Tale Of Remembrance is a work of fiction in the visionary, adventure, and spiritual fiction subgenres. It is suitable for the general adult reading audience and does contain some mild references to violence and explicit language. Penned by author Leia Marie, this uplifting and refreshingly honest work explores spiritual wisdom and the path to enlightenment through a fantasy narrative. Peppered with vignettes from the lives of different people experiencing different challenges, the overall ethos of the book is one filled with harmony and joy, encouraging others to reflect on their own lives after reading this fable example.

Author Leia Marie has a twofold mission within this work, and I feel that she achieved both her goals with great balance and harmony. First is the story itself, which leads us through a winding narrative of the various trials of life, but keeps a consistent theme of overcoming, seeking light, and trusting yourself at the core. In this central theme, the message of guidance and self-help shines through, blurring the line into a world of creative non-fiction where we can apply the principles from the stories to our own lives. This makes for a modern and mindful fairytale feel to the book as a whole, which certainly encouraged me to reflect on my current problems and the darker areas of life and consider how to move forward with a little more light. Overall, I would recommend Enchanted to readers seeking something more concept-heavy than either plot or character and those interested in metafiction that really makes you think.
