Two-year-old Emily loved to play with baby dolls just like any other child of her age group. Daisy was Emily's baby and loved to sing and play. Daisy also liked to wear an apron when she helped to cook, bake, and play. Emily took Daisy on adventures; sometimes far and sometimes at home. They also went food shopping together and to the park where they could have fun and watch the butterflies float in the breeze. Emily counted the butterflies with Daisy and she liked to know if any were hiding. They enjoyed playing together and Emily played peek-a-boo with Daisy and she also breastfed her just like how her mommy taught her to do.
Emily's Great Adventure: A Breastfeeding Book for Children by Samantha Callen is an adorable story that introduces children to breastfeeding in a very subtle way. The exercise at the end of the book makes it interactive and fun and pulls children in to actively participate as they undertake their journey of education. Luis Peres makes the book captivating with his charming illustrations that also breathe life into the characters and the scenes, making them tangible. It is a good story to read out loud to children at school and at home because it educates and gives them information through play. Books like this make learning interesting, entertaining, and interactive, and children will enjoy this way of learning new things with the help of a story, delightful characters, and colorful illustrations.
