Sam was surprised to hear voices one sunny day when he walked deep into the jungle. He followed the voices and he saw trees cut down, lying on the ground. Oliver the owl's eyes were also round with fear - his home had just crashed to the ground. Bobby the bush baby was also scared. Sam wanted to find Elli and Lou so that he could warn them. Elli and Lou were shocked and they wanted to stop the destruction. Sam took them along and on the way, they warned every animal they met. All the animals who wanted to help followed them and Elli decided to make a plan. The animals started talking to the people driving the machines. Their sounds were so loud that the people got scared and left with their enormous machines. The animals got angry looking at the destruction. Would they be able to get back their home as it was before?
Elli and Lou: Gardeners of the Jungle by Kiana Sosa is an adorable story that conveys excellent messages to young readers of teamwork, friendship, and overcoming challenges. Alyona Osyattinskaya adds life and color to the story and characters with her charming illustrations. It is an inspiring and encouraging story for children to read and will help them understand the power of staying united and doing things together. All the characters are well sketched and will leave a lasting impression in the minds of youngsters. It is also a good book to introduce children to the animals that live in the jungle and their sounds in an entertaining way. Tutors and parents will find the book useful when it comes to teaching their children life lessons and the importance of working together.
