How can she take both when the invite is specifically for "a" dad, not multiple? Join Gemma and her bubbly fish Ruby as they decide what to do next.

Doughnuts for Dad by Maria Ashworth is an adorable picture book sure to catch any young reader’s attention. Doughnuts caught my attention, but I stayed for the story as I am certain many children will too. It was sweet and relevant to a "problem" a child might face today, despite how small the problem may seem. It teaches children creative thinking and acceptance in multiple ways, which is seen throughout the story. The book also allows parents and young readers to discuss any perceived issues, including some problems they may face themselves. This book also includes the representation of minority populations, which is much needed in today's world. It was bright, full of color, engaging, and easy to read. Children will surely enjoy this book for its lovable characters and entertaining plot. Teachers will also love this book for the discussions it can evoke in the classroom. What more could you want?
