Dirt, Truth, Music and Bungee Cords: Conversations With the Souls Who Guide My Life by Bud Megargee is a spiritual non-fiction story that covers Megargee’s six-year journey toward the meaning of human existence. Megargee’s story started when he saw things that his mind (and society) had conditioned him to believe were not real. Megargee was a trained clinician and a healthcare executive in a senior position. But in seeking for answers as to what his visions truly were, he drifted into new territory. His experiences with monks from Taiwan, a psychic oracle, and people called soul guides began to shift his perspective and beliefs about what the true human existence is. Two soul guides in particular helped Megargee begin to understand what it would take for him to achieve his authentic soul learning.
Dirt, Truth, Music and Bungee Cords: Conversations With the Souls Who Guide My Life is a very honest story. It is unconventional and many readers might be surprised by what author Bud Megargee has to say. But he says it in such a way that it is believable. Certainly, Bud Megargee believes it, and he shares it with such enthusiasm and passion that makes it a belief easy to buy into. He explains his ideas in a way that is easy to follow and understand, and the stories are entertaining and educational at the same time. This is a tough topic to write about, but Bud Megargee does an excellent job of bringing it into a story that everyone can enjoy.
