I found this book quite interesting. The author frequently speaks of herself as on a journey dealing with suicide. This empowered me to know that I can help anyone with this issue by referring them to this particular book. I enjoyed the fact that it was written from a Christian perspective, and frequently Yolanda refers to Scripture when writing. This will give a person courage to know that he/she can overcome this issue in his/her life. The writer was transparent with what happened to her, and she encourages others to use this book in any setting, such as home or a counseling session.
The only issue that I noticed was that the book cover was not very appealing and that there were some grammar issues. I believe that if these were changed it would make the book stronger and more appealing. Overall this is an important book and I highly recommend it to those hoping to overcome the issue of suicide in their own life.
