Destination Perpetuity: The Real Estate Investor's Road Map to Financial Freedom by Craig O'Rourke is the only guide real estate investors need to read before the year is up. In simple, practical terms, the author lays out what it takes to build and maintain financial stability and freedom. Some business and finance books are dry and formal, but this one is a pleasure to read. It's more like a road trip, led by O'Rourke, and the destination is Perpetuity, or, rather, eternal annuity. Using his own experiences, starting as a child, he watched how his parents built and managed income from real estate. He took the lessons he learned from their success and parlayed them into his own when he followed in their footsteps and became a real estate agent. We can all benefit from a coaching professional, especially when the information is delivered from an insider. If you're eager to earn "mailbox income," keep reading.
Agent, coach, and author Craig O'Rourke is the ultimate resource for building and keeping money in the real estate arena. He writes with enthusiasm and authenticity, with the breeziness of someone who's been there and done that and is eager to pass his knowledge and experience along to others. I like the book because it has long-term success in mind, not just the next couple of years. Planning is key, and even a beginner will have fun learning all the tips and secrets, from learning the lingo (lots of real estate terms and definitions) to having multiple properties. If making your mark in real estate is important to you, or if you want to learn how to keep a steady stream of income flowing your way, this compact presentation of dos and don'ts will be your lifesaver. I love reading success stories. I think we can all learn something from them, and they can motivate you to keep trying. The author poses questions to ponder to engage the reader, like asking if you really want to pursue real estate and whether you are willing to make a plan and stick to it. If you're into saving time and money, and searching for an edge in the real estate world, Destination Perpetuity: The Real Estate Investor's Road Map to Financial Freedom by Craig O'Rourke is a must-read book.
