Storytelling has been my favorite hobby whether I am writing words or drawing scenes. It was just recently that I decided to actually publish my stories to share to the world rather than be imprisoned in my mind alone.
I am 26 years old, married with one son, and currently resides in El Paso, TX. I served in the Army for 7 years and now I follow my husband wherever the Army takes him.
I was 21 when I wrote Death's Kiss and was captivated by the generation wars. The older generation thinks that the new one has changed so drastically and lost its moral values. But I thought to myself, the new generation wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for the old one. So the idea came up with wiping out the old generation. You will understand more if you read the book.

Death's Kiss is a work of fiction in the dystopian, science fiction, and thriller sub-genres, and was penned by author Regie Khemvisay. In a high concept future built after a terrifying virus wipes out three-quarters of the world’s population, the isolated land of Yliria seems to have fallen into relative peace. But two young people, Yuri and her partner Ryoma, are about to discover that peace is a fragile illusion. Armed with the same virus that once destroyed civilization as we knew it, these two find themselves forced into servitude for a system that seems hell-bent on peace, no matter its brutal cost. So begins a journey of struggle and rebellion in a brave new world.
Author Regie Khemvisay has crafted a wonderfully inventive story that is both accomplished in its worldbuilding and conceptually tight. Once immersed into Yliria and its closed-off origins, this apparent utopia breaks apart at the seams beautifully with the author’s intelligent use of descriptive techniques, speech, and thought presentation. Yuri is a fantastic central figure to uncover the mystery, and her tale of illusions being shattered is emotive and heart-wrenching but also shares some important morals about strength and identity. The work has romance, conflict, sacrifice, hardship, trials, and triumph in spades, and everything is woven concisely into a series of relevant and engrossing scenes that never let up on the drama. Overall, I would highly recommend Death’s Kiss to fans of powerful and evocative dystopia built on solid writing and a truly atmospheric imagination.
