Crush Math Anxiety With Drones is a self-help guidebook by Jeanne Holmberg meant to teach students to approach mathematics through a unique and fresh outlook, combined with the increasingly popular Drone technology. Holmberg encourages readers to utilize the growth mindset conceived by Carol Dweck with her colleagues in 2006. It offers exciting educational opportunities founded upon the belief that one person can develop their basic abilities over time through dedication, hard work, and practice. The activities at the end of each chapter can be used for peer discussion, family discussion, class exploration, teen clubs, homeschooling, and much more. Holmberg also provides real-life examples of drone racing businesses and highlights the ways students can use it to ease their math anxiety. Students also receive a preview of some of the big ideas they will explore in high school math courses.
