Cover Up and Save Yourself: Revealing Sexy Is Not Sexy by Bill Vincent is a book that deals with the wardrobe for women according to God's standards. It's written as a deliverance tool aimed at developing women to walk proudly as the image of God. Apostle Bill Vincent wrote a timely book that should be discussed. The teaching on the topic of dress code in church is rarely mentioned. Some people feel they can wear anything in God's presence and think all is well. The teachings within this book will do more than educate; moreover, these can be an effective tool of deliverance. So many women dishonor their bodies with the clothing they wear. This is a profound statement mentioned in the latter.
"Performance worship with sexual persuasion going out into the crowd has much to do with the lack of God’s Presence. First, it is present in a domineering spirit that seeks to control men through forcefulness, badgering, and everything that is the opposite of a gentle and quiet spirit. This manifestation is readily observable, and we do see this spirit in Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab, for she reprimanded her husband and was very controlling and manipulative."
When people are dressed inappropriately, it can send the wrong signal spiritually through the church. This entire book is a devotional of holiness. The author is knowledgeable on the topic and uses appropriate scriptures to drive home biblical scriptures that speak of God's truth. I found this book to be necessary in so many ways. Many of the teachings were familiar to me and my spirit bore witness to the truth.
