Imagine how sisters Hannah and Michelle might have felt when they stopped to check on the passengers of an overturned bus in a ditch while delivering freshly baked Cinnamon Rolls to the Lake Eden Inn. This wasn’t just anyone, it was the members of the jazz band Cinnamon Roll Six, the band that will be at the town's Jazz Festival coming up. It was shocking that the driver was dead already and it was even more shocking when keyboard player Buddy Neiman was found stabbed to death in the ER. After all, his injuries were only minor. With a murderer on the loose, Hannah, with the help of Michelle and Andrea, strikes into action to find out whodunit!
Cinnamon rolls and murder seem like an odd mix until you have read Joanne Fluke’s book, "Cinnamon Roll Murder". Cinnamon rolls will never be the same! I loved the characters and all of the twists and turns that captured my attention in the beginning and kept it until the last page. I just couldn’t put this book down because I was anxious to find who killed the keyboard player, and why. If you want a nice enjoyable little cozy mystery to read, "Cinnamon Roll Murder" is a delightful read and a must for you. Even though it is pretty predictable, it is still a fun read. And as a bonus, you will find a number of unique and delicious recipes along with a baking conversion chart. This was my first book by Joanne Fluke, but I will be looking for more of her books.
