Christmas For The Cowboy: Clover Springs Series Book 1 by C.H. Eryl is the first installment of this contemporary romance series. The story unravels in Clover Springs where it’s almost time for the annual Christmas Benefit Rodeo and Christmas Parade. Ten years ago, and fresh out of high school, Rowdy Paramour left Clover Springs to become a bronc rider in rodeos, make a name for himself, earn enough money to come back and buy his ranch. His high school sweetheart Dee had other plans in mind. The two parted ways, and Dee is now a successful real estate broker in the area. With Rowdy returning home to visit his parents for the holidays, the former lovers are drawn to each other. Will love be sweeter the second time around?
C.H. Eryl’s Christmas For The Cowboy is a must-read for fans of Christmas romance novels. The main plot centers around Rowdy and Dee as they rekindle their romance against the backdrop of the Christmas season. Dee is a sympathetic heroine, and her character is relatable. Rowdy, on the other hand, is an irresistible hero, and readers should find his character likable. The emotional tension is palpable early on in the story. This makes the plot fascinating. I found the plot believable, and perhaps because it is set during the Christmas period, the novel has a festive ambiance. Christmas For The Cowboy is an uplifting story that will leave readers feeling warm and happy.
