Authors Weeden and Marek have developed a rare comedy/mystery novel in which multiple themes are skillfully written to the delight of the reader.

Rick Bullock, the head of a homeless shelter, is called upon to assist in the defense of one of his residents, a mentally compromised young man charged with the murder of a well-known religious leader. Bullock is forced into a series of bargains in order to find clues related to the hoped-for innocence of the accused, a man known as Zeus.

In his quest to help the accused young man, Bullock goes to Florida, where he becomes entangled with the mob and with an organization determined to gain access to a long-lost book of the Bible. The Book of Nathan will render secrets from God which have to do with current, controversial social issues.

The authors have well-developed characters which literally scream out to identify with the reader. Humor is sporadically mixed with detective work to the enjoyment of all who may seek or stumble across the book.
