Blue Dragon Café: A Novel of Indochina by B.J. Coltrayne is the second book in The Burnhams series. This novel is set back in the time when Frank Burnham was just a teenager and is mainly about his uncle, Dan Burnham. The year is 1954 and it all starts with the war at Dien Bien Phu in French Indochina. The young Dan has just left the American army and he is looking for a fresh start. After another battle, he puts his gun away, finds a woman, gets married, and he is finally happy. Being a businessman is fun and a lot better than war and fighting. But when the Vietnam war starts, things take a deadly turn. Things are becoming very bad for Dan. But help is here in the form of a young Frank. Together, they make a formidable adversary. But with a dangerous army upon them, can these two fight it off unscathed?

This is one amazing, amazing action novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. There is not one dull moment in this book. Although I have not read the previous novel in the series, I am pretty sure it would have been just as incredible as this one. The novel was written perfectly; you get to feel everything the characters are feeling. You will get an adrenaline rush just by reading this novel. The action is movie worthy. I don’t know what else to call this novel, except amazing.
