Phoenix Enterprises is responsible for the safety and security of millions of people and Brian Winters is a key element in their psychic network. Unfortunately, the renewed efforts of Samantha and Roland to gain power continue to put Brian’s life in danger. Black Moon, Book 3 in The Winters Family Psi Chronicles by John O’Riley, continues the story of Brian, his family and other psychic colleagues as they face greater and greater challenges to prevent the overthrow of the government in Roland’s power-hungry quest. With the help of Emily Winters’ precognitive journal, Brian gains a tremendous advantage. These warnings from his great-grandmother serve to protect him from the worst that could happen – being kidnapped again and forced to work for Roland. Many surprises await Brian, though, and he must work hard at maintaining his calm and focus in order to succeed. Will his power be enough to stop the threat?
Black Moon: The Winters Family Psi Chronicles – Book 3 by John O’Riley provides an exciting conclusion to the story of Brian and his amazing psychic abilities. In spite of his gifts, Brian is a teenager with the same doubts and questions as any normal guy. He is fortunate to have the guidance of his family as well as the staff of Phoenix Enterprises, but something regular like a birthday party is still really important. Black Moon is well written and easy to follow, even without the background of the previous books. You can’t help but cheer Brian along as he does his best to solve a major problem and have the chance to celebrate his 18th birthday.
