Following a career of over thirty years in the British Army, my husband and I moved to Cyprus to become weather refugees.
I've written children's books about Jason the penguin and Barry the reindeer and young adult/adult books about dogs, soldiers, and netball players, as well as a non-fiction book about a boy born to be different. My most popular books are the supernatural suspense Afterlife series, with five books published so far. The ideas keep coming and I'm currently in the planning stage of Book 6, Beyond Sunnyfields.
I love spending time with my husband Allan and rescue dog Sandy. I also love writing, keeping fit, and socialising, and will do just about anything to avoid housework.

In Beyond Limits by Deb McEwan, Claire is slowly getting used to her angel wings as she faces an important mission with her soulmate Raphael. If Claire is successful, she will have proved herself to the committee and earned her place on the good side. Before she leaves, Claire visits her twin brothers to warn them that a stranger may enter their lives and their intentions will not be good. Meanwhile, a baby girl called Christina enters the world following a tragic event, and her body is consumed by an evil force. Christina spends her life fighting to be free of The Witch who controls her from within. She agrees to carry out an undercover operation for the man she hopes to marry, which results in her falling into the arms of Claire's twin brother, Tony. Will Tony remember his sister's warning and can Claire put the greater good of the committee's cause before her brother's safety?
Beyond Limits by Deb McEwan not only has a fantastic and compelling plot, but the subject matter will also have your mind pondering the 'what if' question long after you have finished reading it. I feel many questions were answered about what happens once we leave our physical body and it is comforting to know that our time on earth is just one of many experiences our souls will have. The twists and turns throughout keep you on the edge of your seat. The brilliantly created characters are so believable but none are safe from their fate. There are many emotional scenes, especially between Claire and her mother, but the relationship dynamics between the characters are explored with perfection too. There are many sub-plots that are as strong and spellbinding as the main storyline. I thought the author's skill of weaving all the plots together with such ease was enviable. This novel has everything you could possibly wish for; excitement, tension, death, paranormal, reincarnation, exorcisms, and telepathy all wrapped up in an explosive unforgettable plot.
