Luna Kayne brings us a riveting paranormal fantasy in Sanctum. When Lily accidentally stumbles into the Underworld at the age of six instead of her place of flowers, a lost prophecy is awakened that could change everything. That night was also the night both her parents were killed. She needed a protector then and there he was. Twenty years later, with her best friend Finley always by her side, the pieces of the prophecy start falling into place. A war is on the horizon and Lily will have to fight alongside an archdemon and an archangel to save a god. Can Lily become who she needs to be to save everyone? Or will her fate overwhelm her?
Author Luna Kayne has created a world beyond what we perceive and accept as true and makes it strangely possible. In this Primordial Lands Novel, the characters are described in a way that makes them likable and relatable. And who can go wrong with a strong female protagonist like the one in Sanctum? The pace is set from the beginning to the end, keeping you entranced and unable to stop reading. The plot is a masterpiece of fiction that will open your mind to the possibilities of fantasy. Sensory stimulation is evident in the immersive descriptions. Sanctum is recommended for more mature readers due to its sexual content. I also loved how different myths and beliefs were woven together to create a story of refuge and fate and I look forward to more from this author.
