The plot is held up by an incredibly created world. This detail brings the story together and drew me in. While I loved the story, it was Luna Kayne’s characters that captured my heart. The dark, sultry, and caring archdemon, Asmodeus, is placed in beautiful contrast to the angelic, righteous, and wicked archangel, Michael. Their character development along with their relationship with Lily is intriguing and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The surrounding characters are beautifully fleshed out with in-depth backstories that give them meaning and I fell in love with all of them. I cannot wait to see what happens in Luna Kayne’s next book.
