Benny the Broccoli (Dreamscapes: Journeys of the Imagination) is a children’s picture book by Tsvika Ben-Porat. The story follows Benny, a small green broccoli who lives in a bowl of fruits on a colorful kitchen countertop. Sadly, Benny does not feel like he belongs with the fruits. So, he sets out on a mission to discover where he truly belongs. He meets Sally, the strawberry, who directs him to a plate of sandwiches. Unfortunately, the sandwiches did not notice Benny, which made him feel dejected. Desperate to find a home, he ventured into the garden, where he received words of inspiration that made him reflect on his uniqueness.
