Children face challenges all the time, both at school and at home. Emotional intelligence will help them to act appropriately as they will no longer feel frustrated or misunderstood. Emotional intelligence is being able to understand and channel emotions effectively. If kids learn to express their feelings, it will be easier for them to find solutions. Beginner Emotional Intelligence (EQ) For Kids: Activity Book (A Kid’s Dream Series: Book 2) explains the five aspects of emotional intelligence. The content focuses on teaching how to change negative emotions into positive ones. It includes examples of what it is like to act with and without emotional intelligence. R.J. Tolson discusses anger management and calming techniques, while teaching children the basics of mindfulness and living in the present without stress.
Emotional intelligence is an important topic. Having this skill prevents children from making rash decisions and also reduces the possibility of destructive or self-destructive behavior. Kids will be able to understand and express the emotions they experience. With Beginner Emotional Intelligence (EQ) For Kids, they will be able to control their emotions. I appreciated this activity book because it teaches kids how to express their feelings simply, develop their social skills, and learn positive behavior toward other people. The visual aspect is eye-catching, and the content is interactive. Young readers will love learning through games as R.J. Tolson includes writing, coloring, and math activities. With these, the information is easier to understand. This book promotes an understanding of how emotions affect children’s decisions and they will learn to solve problems in a new way.
