Elizabeth George wrote Beautiful in God’s Eyes for Young Women to teach young women how to be beautiful on the inside. God is not as concerned about His children's outer beauty as He is about their inner beauty. He provides believers with an ultimate beauty makeover that goes to the very depths of your heart. In Proverbs 31, we find the makeover that Ms. George talks about in this book, and this study will give you what you need to be that ‘Proverbs 31' woman. There are twenty chapters that take you through the entire book of Proverbs. Each chapter is short, and broken down into sections so you easily understand what you are reading. At the end of each chapter there are study questions, and enough space to write the answer to each question.
I have always enjoyed reading and studying Proverbs 31, and I enjoyed this study by author Elizabeth George. She has made this book of the Bible very easy to study and understand by explaining in detail what each verse is talking about, adding her own tips, principles, and insights to make each page enjoyable. And I really like that just before the study questions, Ms. George ends each chapter with “An Invitation to Beauty,” giving valuable tips and insights on how to bring that inner beauty to the outside for the world to see. I strongly encourage each young lady reading this review to get a copy of this book and study it faithfully. Beautiful in God’s Eyes would also be a wonderful small groups study or for use in a Sunday school class.
