Nora Plesent's Be Still and Soar is a memoir/self-help guidebook written in the form of a long letter to help readers find comfort and solace in these trying times. Using personal anecdotes as well as quotes and lessons from influential personalities from a diverse spectrum, the author provides valuable insights into the challenges faced by the general populace in recent years and offers helpful advice on how to navigate through current events. Nora encourages readers to connect with their own feelings, be patient, accept their imperfections, and appreciate their value. She also asks them to stay connected to one's close friends and family to cultivate a sense of belonging.
Be Still and Soar is a must-read for the increasingly chaotic times we find ourselves in. Through easily applicable techniques and approaches, author Nora Plesent showcases the ways one can try to overcome the daily rigors of life without overwhelming themselves.
