Be A Lion by Terry Blackburn is a handy guide for anyone who wants to take a fresh look at the basics of business success. This book aims to help you based on the author’s hands-on experience of how he achieved business success and in properly dealing with the different animals in the business jungle. It begins by introducing you to the wilderness and how lions behave as alpha predators and why a leonine mindset is essential to survive in a very demanding world. At the same time, it cautions that even the strongest lion can be overpowered by a pack of hyenas and other cunning animals. It’s a brutal analogy, but one that can open you to the essential awareness of how and when to think and act like a lion in business, in property, and in a healthy body and mind.

It is easy to lose your way in the competitive, dog-eat-dog world of business. Without a good understanding of its dynamics, you fall to the lowest hierarchy in the food chain. Terry Blackburn describes and guides in an original way, offering a reality that you must face and the tools necessary for you to wield; not just to survive but to thrive in this jungle called business. His indispensable advice makes you understand and relate to his own reality. It’s a jungle out there, as any businessman and entrepreneur will tell you, and Blackburn’s metaphor of why you should be a lion is spot-on when it comes to the call to action you need to take to get ahead of the pack. In an age of globalization and with the recent pandemic that has changed many traditional business practices, Be A Lion becomes an important read to help you stay proactive.
