Toddler loves playing with his mother's smartphone and they record their fun on the phone for their friends to see. Everything he does is captured on the phone and Mommy shows him how fast he is growing up. Toddler also loves clicking his pictures and playing with the phone when Mommy is not around. Mommy uses it as well to teach him new things. The book highlights the role of social media in the lives of the current generation and also reminds everyone to put down their phones and play.
The book deals with a relevant topic without criticizing it. The illustrations are lively and breathe life into the scenes and the characters, giving the story a good pace and movement. It's a good bedtime storybook and parents and grandparents can read it out to their kids during bedtime. The book is also good for interactive sessions in classrooms and school libraries as it shows how kids love playing with smartphones. The book ends on a good note where the author gently reminds readers to put down the phone and play. All parents can relate well to this book as it shows how every action and movement of a child is captured on the phone by the parents and shared on social media.
