#Attack Anxiety: Facing Anxiety with Tools to Help by Don R Womble Sr. is a great book that offers insights into what anxiety is — a kind of x-ray — and proposes a path to tame and trump it. The author shares his personal experience with anxiety and allows readers to understand how real it is. This book looks at the effects of anxiety from an intimate perspective. The author defines anxiety and illustrates the relationship and the differences between anxiety and depression. Readers find tools to handle stress, and these involve work they need to do personally, how to deal with others, and how to handle panic attacks. There are many stories from the author’s life about anxiety, from facing people, preparing sermons, leading, to making important decisions.

The first thing I loved about #Attack Anxiety is the author’s blunt honesty in sharing his story. The reader reads the story of someone who has always detested speaking publicly to a group of people of any size, strangers or family, prepared or not. But what is astonishing is that this story is filled with lessons and a powerful wake-up call to readers. Don R Womble Sr. convinces readers that they can take control of their lives and how they feel. #Attack Anxiety: Facing Anxiety with Tools to Help is beautifully written and the author uses his storytelling craft to drive home a message that reaches straight to the reader’s heart. You will look at anxiety differently after reading this book.

#Attack Anxiety: Facing Anxiety with Tools to Help by Don R. Womble Sr. is a book about how anxiety can attack your life, incapacitate it and make you lose your focus, but once you know how to attack back, you can win against anxiety. Anxiety can get to you at any time and at any place; anxiety attacks can be triggered by even the simplest of things. The author shares his history with anxiety attacks, what it means, what it feels like and then he shares his tried and tested tools that he uses to fight his anxiety. The author takes it one step at a time; he simplifies things and helps in understanding the difference between Stress and Anxiety so that other people can understand their condition better. From controlling anxiety to keeping your head straight as you go through an attack, the author helps you identify and tackle the issues while ensuring that you stay focused and fight anxiety!

The author uses a very simple narrative to explain some very difficult concepts. Many of us don’t really understand the difference between stress and anxiety and take them both as the same; however, the author very clearly explains these two different things. The fact that the author shared his personal experiences with anxiety attacks and how he tackled these makes the whole book like a conversation with a friend who understands you. The book shares some solid information and advice with readers, but it is more than just information. These tips and tools are actually helpful.
