In the books, we have the chance to meet great characters and explore incredible places. This happens to the curious reader who ventures with Aleksandra Layland into the magnificent world of Ansgar: The Struggle of a People. The Triumph of the Heart. We are in Kimbria, a kingdom that has been unified after years of war, and it is here that we meet Ansgar, the King's youngest son. He is looking for the Kimbrii, a people supposed to live in the southern Wastelands. He finds them after nearly dying but is saved by a young woman, Keholani. The Kimbrii are different from the people Ansgar knows; they have fair skin, blond hair, and blue eyes, but that does not stop Ansgar from marrying Keholani. Follow their story and that of their daughter Keridwen in these wonderful pages.
Ansgar: The Struggle of a People. The Triumph of the Heart is a novel that tells a story - or rather several stories - that enchants the reader. Aleksandra Layland recounts the kingdom of Kimbria in a fascinating way and often focuses on the customs of the people described. This allows the reader to get a clear picture of their traditions and their differences. The stories of Ansgar, Keholani, and Keridwen acquire a particular meaning in the light of these details, but they are exciting to read also for the many events the characters have to face. I recommend this fabulous book to all readers who enjoy immersing themselves in realms they can vividly imagine.
