Alien War: Clones Attack is the third book in the Alien War Series by Don Vodka. At first glance, seventeen-year-old Dazzle T'Mekka Shelton seems like a typical high schooler who deals with the usual stuff teenagers go through in school; crushes, dates, hanging out with friends, etc. But she leads a double life as a teenage superhero working for the CIA alongside her best friend, Mischa Schwarz. Dazzle is called to duty once again when aliens masquerading as humans infiltrate the state of Nevada. To make matters worse, the aliens possess the ability to clone anyone, including Dazzle and Mischa. When Mischa is kidnapped and replaced by her clone, Dazzle must find a way to rescue her. Her only clue is a mysterious "key" the aliens seek at any cost. Can she save the human race again?
Author Don Vodka's fast-paced superhero thriller will entice young adult fans of the genre. Pulpy and action-packed, Clones Attack breezes past without a single hitch with twists and turns that keep you glued to the pages. The characters are colorful with vibrant personas that make them thoroughly entertaining to read. Dazzle is a likable teenager who is easy to root for. Vodka perfectly captures the essence of teenage friendships with the group of Dazzle, Mischa, Janelle, and Sandy. I particularly enjoyed the dynamic between Dazzle and Mischa. The action scenes are well-described and a lot of fun to go through. If you're a fan of young adult superhero stories, I recommend Alien War 3: Clones Attack.
