Agonize by Xavier Neal is Tony Reed’s story. I have to say, after reading Logan and Maxx’s story, I was very excited to see what Neal would do with Tony. The story opens with Tony and Lex waking up after they got married in Vegas. Even though Lex only got married to him because she wanted to get a green card, Tony feels that what they have is real. She is his, they are married, and they will remain together no matter what. They have a strong connection and together they are very happy.
Tony’s family do not want this marriage to succeed. They want Tony to be free. However, Tony’s real family, the family that matters, is right beside him and supporting him in his every decision. Lex shows Tony that there is a lot of fun in letting loose and being free. But are they meant to be together? Or will they crumble under the pressure and fall apart?
Xavier Neal is such a great writer. Her Senses series is really good. The way she writes sucks you right into the story and makes you live it. Tony is a great guy and he deserves a girl who loves him just as much. The story was fast paced and really well written. You will not feel like you missed something. The chemistry between Tony and Lex was amazing and sizzling. It was also great to meet Logan and Maxx again and see how their lives are. Neal has a gift and she is using it to its full potential.
