Meet the campers on their field day at Camp Pootie-Cho in the middle of a beautiful rainforest in Better Together: Adventures at Camp Pootie-Cho by L.M. Logan. Mr. Drill splits the group into two teams. Solo Dawg is the captain for the red team and Zaq Lyons is the captain for the blue team. Coach Pupoh gives them the rules and he tells them the three obstacles they have to overcome and finish first to win the grand prize. As both the teams race through the different obstacles, they also realize they have to work together. What are the different obstacles? Which team wins the race?
This delightful story speaks about the importance of team work and the beautiful illustrations give life to the concept and the author's words. The images are bright and colorful and will keep children captivated. It is a good story for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries as it will help children understand the importance of team work and being united when they do something as a group. The story has action and adventure and children will definitely enjoy their time at Camp Pootie-Cho.
