Abomination Desolation by Alan Thompson is a supernatural thriller and is the second novel in the Creation Abomination series. What would you do if you knew the end of the world is near and you can stop it? Once upon a time, William Mears was an excellent research scientist on the verge of something brilliant. Now, he is just a man in a mental hospital going through treatment because nobody believes him. He knows the end of times is upon them all, but no one is taking him seriously. However, the apocalypse is coming and it is approaching fast. It seems like William is the only one who can save the world from the impending end, but for that, he has to get out of the hospital. William is ready to do whatever it takes to save humankind and keep it safe from danger. But can he do it? Or will he perish at the hands of his supernatural adversaries?
Anyone who is a fan of action, drama, and supernatural fiction will love Abomination Desolation. William is a smart man; he knows how to weigh the pros and cons, think about his actions and then make a decision. He is analytical, he is observant and all of these qualities come in handy when he is trying to save the world. The plot itself is very rich, it is detailed and every sentence has a purpose. The flow is incredibly good; I never felt like stopping or wanting to pause. The situations created by Alan Thompson are believable and scarily real. He has the magical ability to weave pictures with his words. The moment I started reading the story, I was transported into William’s world and I didn’t want to get out of it. I enjoyed the descriptions because these made me feel and experience the story like it was happening around me. This is a great story, one that deserves attention from everyone!
