FBI Trackers Adrian Dillard and Cat Morgan are drawn into a case involving a fellow law enforcement officer with the disappearance of Laredo ATF agent Stuart Dyson in A u 79 by Anita Dickason. Without much to go on, the pair have to depend on local police, the Texas FBI and the ATF to make headway, but encounter resistance and outright hostility. As the clues begin to surface and the connections are made, the action heats up with ever-widening implications. Local Homicide Detective Tracy Harlowe is a big help while also being a loose cannon, and an ambitious young wanna-be reporter may or may not be creating more trouble than his curiosity can handle as all their paths continue to cross.
With internal complications on top of getting any information from the people under investigation, Dillard and Morgan have their hands full. At least the tech guru of the Washington office has a new system up and running that helps to analyze thousands of bits and pieces of information that point them in the right direction. Will the team be able to get to the bottom of the agent’s disappearance before there is a major incident?
Anita Dickason has created an amazing adventure with this riveting action thriller. The action spirals progressively to an explosive conclusion with fantastic details of the process of investigating a major FBI case. There are so many characters that some confusion could arise, but a convenient list of characters helps to keep things clear as the pieces fall into place. Terrific dialogue, amazing intrigue and intense action keep you turning pages to find out what the real mystery is and what Agent Dyson’s involvement actually is. Well written and well worth reading, Au 79 is a great book. Excellent story! I would love to read more!
