A Mother's Voice by Tracey Winn is a collection of inspiring poems. The poems revolve around human emotions and feelings, nature and the spirit. The author has done some soul searching before putting pen to paper.
I read a lot of poetry and what I liked about the poems in this book is that the connection between the emotions, nature, five element and soul. The poet has linked it up beautifully with her poems. The interconnections are woven beautifully. The poems, as the sub title suggests, are rhyming and rhythmic. They sound very lyrical and all the poems are well worded and elegant, making it easy for any reader to understand.
It is really difficult for me to tell which poem is my favorite. Every poem has its own message for the reader. They deal with various topics which are universal and hold interest for everyone. 'Do animals make mistakes' is an interesting poem. It makes us ponder a bit. The poems related to the soul, astral light, and the rest are profound.
A Mother's Voice touches you in many ways. The poems are simple, short and discuss the world we are currently living in. The complexities and questions that crowd our mind many a time is discussed by the poet. They are sublime. On the whole, it a book that should be owned because you feel like re-reading many of them.
