The book takes you on a physical and emotional journey of a person who rises up from the depths of despair and goes on a path of healing - mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She starts the book from the diagnosis to the treatment period and how it affected her mentally. Lisa ends up being bitter and resentful. By keeping a journal to talk to God, she overcomes the negative feelings and ends up embarking on a positive path. The book gives hope to those who are suffering and looking for redemption.
It is an emotionally moving story that will touch your heart. The author has chronicled her experiences in a manner for the reader to comprehend them easily. The story of Lisa and her recovery from cancer will be inspiring to many readers who are suffering from illnesses and who are emotionally and mentally angry and bitter.
