A Journey through Scotland: Lowlands & Highlands ~ Fun Facts, Sights, History by Rhonda L. Paglia is an interesting read for all those who love to discover new places and love traveling. The book takes readers on a tour of Scotland and give them information on the amazing sights, culture, and the ancestry, history, and heritage of the country. Every page captures vivid images of Scotland and will make readers realize what a beautiful country it is and make them want to pack their bags and go there. The fun facts, sights, and history are enticing and captivating and it is an excellent photo journal for all those who love travel.
I found the book fascinating and the rich descriptions of the Highlands and Lowlands, cathedrals, museums, and food joints will leave readers wanting more. The fun words, phrases, the Scottish dress, and the way the Scots speak given at the end of the book is informative and weaves the Scottish culture into the narrative. It's a perfect book to be used for reference in school and colleges while doing projects. The book covers almost everything about Scotland and, being a photo journal, makes it easy to connect with the author's words and help readers visualize the places better. The book has enough information on each topic and also includes a useful map.
