A Fearless Guide To Manifesting, Launching, & Celebrating Female Entrepreneurship by India Rochelle represents 67 pages of advice the author has culled from her own experience on how to gather mentors and team members to succeed in your own business. She lays out her business plan in three sections: Manifest, Launch, and Celebrate. She starts out with a "believe, see, do" approach, and advice to meditate, listen to music, do yoga, or journal to stay centered. Rochelle is very real about the struggles of a female entrepreneur trying to balance home care, child care, and running a business. Building a tribe of supporters is crucial.
It was unexpected to read that Rochelle had been fired from six jobs and had quit one, and had trouble holding down a job. Normally a book by entrepreneurs offering advice to future entrepreneurs paints the author as perfect, but in A Fearless Guide To Manifesting, Launching, & Celebrating Female Entrepreneurship, India Rochelle is open and honest about her past, present, and future. Marketing advice is provided, including generating local awareness, crafting a pitch, and being involved and active on social media. One of the tips I learned from the launch section was the pre-pre-launch phase during which you create a newsletter, and the pre-launch phase where you give away samples. A Fearless Guide To Manifesting, Launching, & Celebrating Female Entrepreneurship invites all women to be fearless entreprenistas by being focused on core business values and staying the course.
