A Diary of Bedtime Stories, Week 2 by Jill Vance is a delightful collection of bedtime stories that can be read out to kids on each day of the week. The stories are narrated by a mother to her twin daughters. The stories she tells them are based on the adventures she experienced in her childhood, and they take the twins and readers on a magical trip where they come across many wonderful things. Each story is filled with enchantment and whimsy, and keeps young readers fascinated by all the magical happenings.
Bedtime storybooks always have a charm of their own when it comes to putting kids to sleep. This book is a must-have in one's personal collection. Parents and grandparents will find it ideal to read out to kids and grandkids during bedtime. The fact that there are stories for each day of the week makes it more appealing. Children can also use this book for self reading. The woods, the whimsical element, wood nymphs, butterflies and many more magical elements give the stories a surreal effect. The stories are aesthetic, creative and highly imaginative, and will encourage kids to think beyond the boundaries they usually set for themselves. The illustrations complement the stories beautifully and they breathe life into the stories, scenes and characters. I enjoyed these stories. They made me dream and imagine, and took my thoughts to faraway places. All the stories are exciting and take readers on an exciting journey to places and lands where they feel happy and alive. An enchanting collection for kids.
