In a very sweet and endearing story that will certainly be enjoyed by both children and their parents, A Day with Justine: A Chodi Kid Book by author Christine Bauer, readers will find a wonderful introduction to the routines of everyday life and the importance of doing chores and having fun as well. Following a delightfully drawn little girl, Justine, the story line is easy to comprehend, easy to read, and gives a simple and good message without coming across as preachy or too goody two-shoeish. I think that most parents will especially appreciate the message regarding the importance of responsibility and of why being helpful and doing chores is both a good and worthwhile thing, even for pre-schoolers.
I very much enjoyed A Day With Justine: A Chodi Kid Book. Author Christine Bauer has done a great job in creating a story that is enjoyable and educational at the same time. The illustrations are engaging, and the message of the story is one that will be appreciated by many. As a parent, I wish this book had been available when my children were in this age group. The premise is unique, and I cannot recall coming across a book with a similar focus in the past. I highly recommend A Day with Justine: A Chodi Kid Book to any preschool aged reader and their loved ones. I certainly hope that author Christine Bauer is working on her next installment in this very delightful series!
