Do you believe in fate or magic? For Simon Tinsley, the encounter between his daughter, Pamela Bradford Tinsley (Pansy) and his favorite employee for over a decade, Dallas Trent (D.J) in the romance novel, A Cabin in the Woods by Linda Stiles Fox, was purely magic. Simon strongly believes in happiness and love; he sees it as magic when people are able to experience these emotions together. He had high hopes that his only daughter and his favorite employee would not only work together, but believed that they would be a great fit for each other. When Simon asked Pamela to travel west to come and work with him, she decided that she needed to take a break first to adjust herself to the tremendous change. Dallas, on the other hand, had been working extremely hard and before he was set to take on the challenge of working with Simon’s daughter, he too decided that he needed to take a break. As fate would have it, their break landed them in the same place at the same time ... at the cabin in the woods.
This is truly a beautiful, enchanting and impactful love story. As parents, we always desire for our children to marry someone special. Simon wasn't any different. When something is meant to happen, it will. This story offers a twist that when the stars line up and fate kicks in, it creates an inevitable chain of events. We never know how life will turn out. Pamela’s mother and her father felt that the cabin was magical and now Pamela is a believer of this also. Such a beautiful love story! I truly enjoyed it.
