Although it can be challenging to create deep and meaningful relationships, they are among our most valuable investments. Learn how you can easily establish these meaningful relationships in Who's In The Waiting Room? Create the Life You Want Through the Power of Authentic Relationships by Neal Goldstein. It is an inspirational story that navigates you through the life of a man who had a very difficult time as a teenager but is now a successful lawyer. While guiding you through the golden keys to "finding your people" and cultivating quality and authentic relationships that can help you become successful in your professional and personal life, Goldstein candidly shares with the reader how he overcame adversity in his youth.
Most people would agree that few of life's truly meaningful and worthwhile things are accomplished alone; self-reliance and self-confidence are required to succeed. But that doesn't mean you have to be alone on life's journey—we can't go it alone. In this book, readers will acknowledge and recognize how much we need each other and learn how they can begin to build powerful relationships. My favorite part of the book was "Making the Ordinary Extraordinary." While reading this chapter, the phrase "if it's meant to be, it will be" kept ringing in my mind. Neal Goldstein shares with the reader how, many years after he parted ways with Gina, a friend who always had kind words for him, they reunited. How they would continue to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary ones will make readers realize that they can live what they consider "extraordinary" lives even when doing small, everyday things. Who's In The Waiting Room? provides the tools you need to connect with others and even offers priceless lessons on how kindness brings optimism and happiness. I recommend it to anyone who feels defeated and would love to have new, meaningful relationships but is scared they will get hurt.
