Weathering Old Souls doesn’t come from the same reincarnation stories that Hollywood churns out. The creative minds of authors James J. Cudney and Didi Oviatt offer something deeper and more intelligent. The main protagonist, Abigail Perry, hasn’t been sleeping peacefully as a huge burden weighs upon her soul. Abigail is tormented by the spirits of her past lives—something that doesn’t sit well when you are a recently elected member of the House of Representatives and eyeing the Senate next. She writes in her journal that her past lives have been affected by the most powerful numbers of the universe, blessed by a special stone and woven together by the four major elements of life. Billie Miller, Maxwell Ainsworth, Naniwa Mitsuo, and Emilio Parquez will play significant roles in her identity as the product of over one hundred and fifty years of history.
Weathering Old Souls approaches the enigma of rebirth in a time-honored way, as Abigail traces her genealogy to put together the pieces of the puzzle of her own history.
