UnTrapped: Nine Secrets to Getting Along by Daniel Nehrbass is an encouraging and insightful book for all those readers who feel trapped in their relationships, and are looking to have a relationship based on trust, openness, and freedom. Everyone is looking to have healthy relationships, and the nine possible responses suggested by the author to choose when relationships become difficult to handle are healthy. If these are applied, readers will see a change and this will enable them to rebuild their relationships. The author works through stories, ideas, biblical examples, and anecdotes, and gives life-changing principles that can be used effectively for a positive outcome.
The topic is relevant and I like the manner in which the author goes about handling it very realistically. The book is not about changing people, it is about changing relationships and how that change should begin with you. The nine tips - teach, appeal, listen, sacrifice, do nothing, leave, make a boundary, compromise, and repent - have been explained well so that readers can apply these to their lives. The author goes through the nine tips methodically and in a very simple and effective way, helping readers examine their relationships through these strategies, and effectively making changes where required so that they can remove the roadblocks and have healthy and happy relationships. The author gives hope to all those who feel they are trapped in their relationships, and gives readers many options to decide on which one works the best for them.
