Two Of A Kind by Gail Meath is a crime mystery drama about Jax Diamond and Ace. Jax and Ace are the best crime-solving duo in New York this Christmas, and they do not even know it. The two meet by chance and share a bond that makes them a perfect crime-solving machine. The biggest twist about the two is that Ace is a puppy. Jax is a police officer who witnesses the murder of a child during a robbery. The murder could have been avoided if he had acted sooner. The incident haunts Jax and leads to his resignation. The robbers from the case that led to his resignation continue committing robberies all over the city, and they are only after Christmas toys. This piques Jax's curiosity, and with Ace by his side, he decides to catch these thieves. Who could be stealing toys during Christmastime in New York City? And why are they only stealing toys? Find out in Two Of A Kind.
I love a good crime mystery; it keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I fell in love with Two Of A Kind with every plot twist. Jax is such an iconic character. Gail Meath did a splendid job of creating a relatable yet intriguing character. He is determined and will stop at nothing until he catches the criminals. Ace is the cutest puppy ever. He is still a puzzle to me; his origins are unknown, and I guess that is the point of a mystery book, to leave you with head-scratching questions. Ace is loyal to Jax and becomes a valuable asset to him. I also loved the cover of this book because it is unique. I recommend this book to all crime mystery lovers. Read this book today and help save Christmas with Jax and Ace.
