Tamara Ferguson's new adult military romance novella, Two Hearts Undone, is the third book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series, and I quickly felt like I was reading about old friends from the previous books. An excerpt from Two Hearts Surrounded, the first book in the series is included with this novella, and I found it quite helpful for refreshing my recollections of that story. The author's characters are well-drawn and believable, and watching as these two grieving souls finally allow themselves to consider a future is heartwarming. I especially enjoyed their outing to the beach at Dragonfly Pointe with young Ben, a disabled boy who was learning to adapt to using his new prosthetics. Two Hearts Undone is a sweet romance and is suitable for young as well as new adults. It's highly recommended.

I found the story simple and heartwarming with believable situations and characters that will connect well with readers. Both Melinda and Steve will remain in the hearts of readers for a long, long time. The hope and the eagerness to connect with one another make this love story palpable and real. It is well written and all characters are well-sketched, which makes it a compelling and fast paced love story to enchant readers. The descriptions are detailed and vivid, and make the scenes, the characters, and their emotions come alive. The open ending of the story will make readers look forward to the next volume to know more about the romance between Steve and Melinda.
